PROMOTING STEM OPPORTUNITIES

Throughout Southeast Louisiana

ROBOTICS CAMPS

Intro to Robotics, EV3 Mindstorms, MiniMakers & SeaPerch

We typically hold our robotics camps during the summer.  We provide a wide range of instruction to accommodate different skill levels. We offer an intro camp that utilizes the LEGO WeDo sets used with JrFLL. We offer beginner and intermediate level programming camps utilizing EV3 Mindstorms. Upon request, we can also customize our EV3 Robotics camps to accommodate current FLL team members. We also have the capability to provide camps for arduino makers and SeaPerch.  As our FTC team becomes more established, we also plan to host one-day events to introduce youth to techniques in wiring & soldering, Java & Blocks programming and Autodesk Inventor.

SUPPORTING FIRST TEAMS

We are committed to supporting FIRST robotics throughout our region & beyond.

While attending our first international FLL robotics competition with the Bayou Builders in 2015, we became inspired by all the amazing teams we met from all over the world. This inspiration became a passion while competing at the 2016 FIRST World Championship. We want to help start new teams in our area while also supporting the development of veteran teams, including our own.  We have been fortunate to have had amazing mentorship with Hammond High's FRC Torbotics #2080 and want to pay it forward.  When we all work together and share our experiences, we grow and learn that much more.  Contact us to arrange a chance to connect. COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS

We are committed to helping organizations in our area provide fun and engaging STEM events.

Since the 2014 FLL World Class season, we have been fortunate to participate in a wide range of amazing community outreach events.  We have provided demonstrations at monthly STEM Cafe's hosted by the Tangi STEM Council, Hot August Nights, Starry November Nights, DOW's STEM festival at the Louisiana Children's Museum, New Orleans Mini Maker Faire, Barnes & Noble Mini Maker Faire, Tulane's Annual Engineering Summit, LEEC State Symposium, Louisiana's Green School Youth Summit, Hammond Library, Slidell Library, the Girl Scouts BIG Event, Greenville Park Leadership Academy STEM events, FRC Bayou Regional, the annual Louisiana Festival de Robotique and multiple service organizations.  Contact us to see about having us at your next event or check out our calendar to see where we'll be next.
